Toys R US Canada is selling bundles of goods aimed at keeping kids entertained during self-isolation.
The retailer has temporarily closed its 80-plus estate, and is offering the Stay-at-Home Play Packs exclusively online, with free delivery.
Each bundle boasts around a 30 per cent saving on the value of goods, with a variety of tiers, themes and price points launched each week.
Products in the packs include a mix of creative products from Crayola, Mega Bloks and LEGO construction sets, dominoes, wooden blocks, Uno card games, blind box collectables, modelling dough and more.
The Family Fun Pack, aimed at older children, includes a number of board games, such as Hasbro’s Operation, Connect 4, art sets and larger LEGO builds.
The Bizzy Bodies, Bizzy Minds Fun Pack is the cheapest at just under CAD$30. It offers collectables, a book, modelling putty, chalk and the classic game Guess Who?
The retailer will also be releasing brand-new unboxing content on YouTube featuring its mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe.
Toys R Us Canada closed all 82 stores on 18 March and is set to re-open them next week on Monday 30 March, though the retailer says this may change in light of new information.
Vic Bertrand, Toys R US Canada president and CEO said in an open letter to customers: “As we navigate the days and weeks ahead we will continue to deliver on this commitment to you our loyal customers.
“This decision will be reviewed on a daily basis after considering the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada.”
