Yesterday, there wasn’t a pair of matching socks in sight at The Entertainer head office or across its UK stores.
On 12 November, employees showed their support for Odd Socks Day, an annual initiative run by the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
Odd Socks Day is a national event which encourages people to celebrate what makes us all unique and highlight the issue of bullying in a fun way.
To take part, The Entertainer team wore crazy chaucettes, funky footwear and mis-matched socks, making a donation of £1 or more to support the charity’s work and cover the cost of coordinating the event each year.
Thousands, including toy store staff, across the UK got involved with Odd Socks Day yesterday to encourage children to be themselves, accepting of one another and to celebrate difference.
Anti-Bullying Week takes place each year in November.
