Eight new licensees have signed onto the burgeoning licensing programme for Zuru’s Rainbocorns, in a raft of deals secured by licensing agent Riverside Brands.

The popular mystery surprise plush, which feature reversible sequin hearts with a hidden surprise, have grown in popularity since arrival in 2018, sweeping up awards including the 2020 People’s Choice Award at the US TOTYs, and Australian Plush Toy of the Year.

Now the brand will head to a variety of new categories in EMEA, covering apparel, accessories, arts and crafts, toy novelties, magazines, back to school, puzzles, greeting cards and wrap, with product launching from this spring onwards.

New partners on board are: Fashion UK / Global Licensing, Roy Lowe & Sons, Sambro International, Sinco Creations, Redan Publishing, Kids First Group, W&O, Danilo Promotions.

“We’re thrilled that the brand’s ethos of all things magical and quirky has really transcended the toy category,” says Aneisha Vieira, Zuru’s Global Brand Director.

“We’re excited to work with partners who share our vision for Rainbocorns and are bringing the brand to life in so many different spaces.”

Ashley Holman, Managing Director of Riverside Brands, adds: “We are excited to be working with such great partners on Zuru Rainbocorns. The product looks fantastic and is launching in-store from spring onwards, so we look forward to seeing kids everywhere enjoying the wider Rainbocorns offer.”
