Hasbro introduces Monopoly for Sore Losers and Cluedo Liars Edition thumbnail

Hasbro is calling all sore losers, offering them a chance to get even, with the latest iteration of its ever-popular board game. Introducing the newly available Monopoly for Sore Losers.

In a game of Monopoly for Sore Losers, it pays to lose. Players should forget foraging away extra cash in fear of that dreaded hotel that dad has just put on Mayfair, as this time, pulling the short straw will instead see players rewarded.

Going straight to jail? Rolled your way to tax or rent hell? Ran out of cash? Players collect sore loser coins as typically ‘bad’ things happen to them in the game and gain advantages to fight their way to the front. Players can collect four sore loser coins and trade their tokens in to play as the Mr. Monopoly Ultimate Sore Loser token. And now they can get paid for landing on another player's property, take a turn away from another player, and more.

This hilarious twist will unite the family in the fight to become the biggest loser. The game ends when all the properties have been purchased and each player has made it back to GO. Then the player with the most cash - sore loser or not - wins.

Also now available is the latest iteration of Cluedo – Cluedo Liars Edition.

In Cluedo’s latest game, winning depends on lying your way to victory. The murder mystery board game is back, and this time, causing mischief and trouble will pay dividends.

This new edition will see family and friends tackle an additional deck of “investigation cards” – or truth and lie cards. Players must work their way through the interrogation room by exposing their competitor’s questionable poker face and hit the liar button to call out the games’ biggest deceivers. If they get it right, their rival will give up an ‘evidence card’. But if they get it wrong, this will see them lose out.

Players should aim to outsmart interrogators with the modern take on two truths and a lie, working their way through the secret passages to take them quickly from one room to the next.

It’s Cluedo, but with added bluffing!
