Harrogate Home and Gift Buyers’ Festival 2020 has been cancelled, and and has postponed its 60th anniversary show until next summer.
The popular trade show, which in recent years attracted a growing number of design-led toy companies looking to tap into the gift market, was due to take place in July, but will skip this year entirely due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Kelly Grant, the show’s Director, confirmed the event will return in 2021, between 18 and 21 July.
“Like many of you, all of us are devastated by the requirement to postpone Home & Gift for the first time in its 60-year history,” she adds.
“Our absolute priority is to safeguard the health and welfare of all those involved in our events and, therefore, we acknowledge that this postponement is a necessity.
“The 2021 edition, will now celebrate the 60th anniversary of Home & Gift and will be a special opportunity for the community to come together in better times. The show will combine all the exciting features planned for this year, including the highly anticipated 60th anniversary party, plus the 2021 edition’s enhanced ShopTalk speaker programme, new sectors and even more key brands and buyers.
“We would finally like to take this opportunity to once again thank you for your loyalty and support and to wish you continued safety and wellness."
