Toymaster has confirmed a temporary replacement for its outgoing Managing Director Ian Edmunds, who yesterday announced his departure after more than 20 years with the buying group.
Yogi Parmar and Colin Farrow, who have both served Toymaster in a variety of key roles for the past 30 years, will take over as interim joint Managing Directors. They will also continue with their current responsibilities.
Paul Reader, another Toymaster veteran of 20 years, has also been promoted to Marketing Director. He will also continue with his current responsibilities and take on new additional tasks.
A statement from Toymaster chairman Chris Blatcher says: “The Toymaster team are committed to Toymaster’s mission statement of 'Helping Our Members Trade More Profitably'.
“With the appointment of Yogi and Colin as Interim Joint Managing Directors, and the promotion of Paul to the Board as Marketing Director, we will be able to utilise their passion for our group and Toymaster will continue to go from strength to strength.
“Going forward Toymaster look forward to working even more closely with Suppliers and Members to enhance the group even further.
“Please join me in wishing them every success in their new roles.”
