Little Tikes is hosting the second annual World’s Biggest Playdate on 16 May 2020.
With almost 50 years of expertise in play, Little Tikes is inviting families around the world to join in the fun by hosting their own World’s Biggest Playdate event at home by downloading the free party kit, following along on social media using #WorldsBiggestPlaydate.
The outbreak of Covid-19 means that the annual event will run a little differently than planned – at home and virtually. But, if ever there’s a time when families need a day of fun and play, and a pool of free downloadable resources to keep the kids busy for days, it’s now!
Thousands of families around the world are celebrating this global, virtual day of play in the comfort of their own homes, signing up on the Little Likes website, where tons of great downloadable activities can also be found. The website is also where families can enter the World’s Biggest Playdate Sweepstakes for a chance to win one of five grand prizes featuring over $1,000 in Little Tikes Toys.
To take part in the World’s Biggest Playdate at Home, families are encouraged to schedule a time to Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, or chat with their family and friends. Little Tikes recognises that this year’s World’s Biggest Playdate will be a little different, as each family hosts their own event at home, but that doesn’t mean families can’t still see, chat, and play with their friends, family, and loved ones.
Little Tikes has also created a pool of free downloadable decorations to help families decorate their homes for the occasion. There is bunting that can be hung over doorways, a banner that can be displayed on the walls, and families can event make their own photobooth with the downloadable picture frame and photo props, or they could even make these cute paper crowns for their kids to wear.
For families who have little ones who love to colour, draw, paint, and experiment, Little Tikes has even gone to the trouble of creating colouring pages, activity sheets, experiments, and more to keep the kids entertained! And there’s a whole host of other great downloadable activities for your kids to do too. Plus, there’s a pretty cool game of ‘Pin the face on the Cozy Coupe’ – a cute spin on the traditional party game, ‘Pin the tail on the donkey’ – that is also free to download.
And be sure to check out the Little Tikes Facebook, Instagram, and SnapChat pages to see some awesome videos of kids cruising behind the wheel of their Cozy Coupe using a newly introduced filter.
