Interplay UK has announced a raft of new recruits and internal promotions across its sales and marketing, finance, and operations departments.
The company says its investment in new talent, many of whom bring previous experience at some of the toy trade’s biggest firms, will support its goals of increasing marketing activity, competitiveness and distribution.
Interplay UK’s new sales recruits are: Mark Murray, previously of Spin Master and watchmaker Seiko, who joins as UK Sales Manager; Jenny Hodges, who brings experience from LEGO and Schleich to her new role as National Account Manager; and Alison Clapcott, who has been appointed Sales Administrator. In recognition of her continued success at Interplay UK, Karen Patterson has also been promoted to National Accounts Manager.
Justin Clasby, formerly at Hasbro, LEGO and Re:creation, also joins the company as Senior Marketing Manager. Interplay will also benefit from Graham Jacob’s extensive logistics experience, as he has joined as the new Operations Manager.
Meanwhile former University Games executive Matthew Kirsch will take over from Barry Hine as Finance Director. Barry has been with the company since the early days and will soon take retirement.
Adrian Whyles, MD, Interplay UK paid tribute to Barry, wishing him a “long and healthy retirement”.
“He has been a major part of Interplay’s successful growth over the years,” Adrian adds. “We are also delighted to welcome the new members into our fantastic team. We have high-quality, professional staff in place across every department to support the continuous growth and exciting plans we have for sustained expansion of the business going into 2021 and beyond.”
