Asmodee has hailed the success of its inaugural AsmoFair – its first-ever fully virtual trade show created in partnership with Coiledspring Games – and will follow up with a second event next month.
Running 2-5 September, AsmoFair was organised to bridge the gap between supplier and buyer while in-person events are off the table due to Covid-19. Buyers were offered the chance to book a remote tour of Asmodee’s showroom, with members of the company’s sales team introducing some of its can’t-miss products.
Both delighted by the uptake of the event and eager to put into action many valuable lessons learned from the experience, Asmodee is moving quickly alongside Coiledspring Games to offer a second run of the show. AsmoFair Part II will run from Sunday 4 to Wednesday 7 October, making it a fantastic opportunity for those who were unable to attend the first event to discover Asmodee’s range of best-in-class board games – including a look at what’s next for the Dobble and Pokémon Trading Card Game ranges.
The Toy Barnhaus team were among those to take advantage of the first event. “With well-structured meetings, previews of new and different products, as well as the opportunity to provide feedback, AsmoFair was a fantastic virtual alternative to a physical show with the same great and exclusive offers for customers,” they said. “All in all, I found AsmoFair to be a seamless experience and a great way for our store to prepare for Q4 and Christmas.”
To attend AsmoFair Part II and make use of the next-best thing to an in-person trade show, buyers can head to
