Amid the outbreak of Covid-19, charities around the world have been unable to run their normal money-raising events. The Fence Club, the toy trade's very own charity, recently had to cancel its Spring Dinner fundraiser – an event that usually raises a few bob for a good cause!
But the money has still been rolling in thanks to Joe Kissane of the Character Group. Ever-the-charity-man, and a truly good sport, Joe came up with a novel and creative way to help the Fence Club raise some money by enlisting his daughters Hannah and Olivia to bleach his hair white!
You may think that with the coronavirus taking its toll on us all, Joe’s hair may have turned white naturally, but as our video clip shows this was carried out by his girls.
Joe has already raised over £500 from friends, family, work colleagues and Fence Club members and we thought that the wider toy trade might like to donate to this most worthy cause.
Hannah and Olivia’s next move is to shave Joe’s head Kojak-style to complete his charity drive.
Donations can be made via the Fence Club Just Giving page.
