Playmobil is continuing its support of independent retailers  a recent sponsorship campaign with Crumtons Toy Shop.

Three large Playmobil: The Movie banners have gone up outside the store in Bangor, Northern Ireland, promoting the range of nine playsets based on the film, which consumers can buy in-store.

Mark McGilton, Store Owner at Crumtons, says: “As a huge Playmobil fan, it is a pleasure to feature the toy brand outside the store. Working with the team has been a great experience and we look forward to doing more together in the future. Thanks to Playmobil, Bangor now has a lot more happy colour in our lovely town.”

In June, Playmobil partnered with Banba Toymaster in Dublin. The marketing, also for Playmobil: The Movie, coincided with a number of milestones for the independent retailer, including its 75th anniversary in this year and being named Independent Retailer of the Year at the 2019 Toy Retailers Association awards.

Jamie Dickinson, Marketing and Display Manager at Playmobil UK says: “At Playmobil, supporting retailers through our advertising programme is a priority. The banners at Crumtons reaffirm our position as a leading entertainment brand as well as drums up energy during an exciting time, with Playmobil: The Movie launching in August.”

The nine Playmobil: The Movie playsets are available for retailers to order now, and include: Rex Dasher with Parachute, Robotitron with Drone, Marla with Horse, Charlie with Prison Wagon, Marla and Del with Flying Horse, Del’s Food Truck, Emperor Maximus in the Colosseum, Marla in the Fairytale Castle, and Rex Dasher’s Porsche Mission E.
