Zimpli Kids is looking to capture a greater share of the sensory play market with its slime and snow products.

The company says its lines, particularly best-seller Gelli Baff, have been picked up by swathes of social media personalities and championed as the ideal play stuff for promoting development, education and sensory understanding, particularly for kids on the autism spectrum.

“We have had hundreds of Instagram influencers review our products, capturing their children using Gelli Baff and Snow products for a multi-sensory experience,” says Jessica Coy, Head of Marketing at Zimpli Kids. “It’s great to see that our products not only provide fun, but they help children with sensory issues.

“The recent feedback we have had from children with autism using Gelli Baff products has been amazing. The benefits of sensory play for autistic children are huge! Encouraging them to focus on something with their hands, like Gelli Baff, can provide them with a sense of calm.”

Zimpli says the unique texture of its products make them the ideal toy for sensory play, a key activity in children’s growth, helping to develop motor, interaction and social skills.

Importantly, Zimpli highlights the safety of its products – which are 100 per cent safe on skin, stain-free and made in the UK – evident in the company’s own rigorous product testing, and in the widespread use of the products throughout the educational sector.

Sales Director at Zimpli Kids, Eejay Enyi, adds: “Educational bodies are phenomenally careful when choosing products to be used in schools, nurseries and sensory play centres.

"We are proud of the fact that every major educational distributor in the UK has been buying our Gelli Baff now for many years, using the range in sensory play and development.”
