Vivid hatches launch plans for Nestlings thumbnail

Vivid is anticipating the birthday of Nestlings, its new interactive pet, next month, detailing a host of retail and YouTube initiatives to make the launch an unmissable event.

“It’s been a long gestation period but we are excited to announce all the details” says Head of Marketing Darrell Jones. “Consumers will get a first glimpse at our furry friends on 14 September when we release content working with hit YouTube Creators Ruby and Bonnie.”
Vivid is planning a meet and greet with the stars at a Smyths Toys store along with a VIP list of bloggers. The content will also be supported by blipverts – three to five-second ad clips – on TV to tease the Nestlings arrival ahead of a full TV launch later that month.

“We are also delighted to be working with The Entertainer Squad to endorse the brand launch and this along with a strong PR programme will help put Nestlings on the top of the Christmas lists,” Darrel adds.
Nestlings are cute friends that kids must care for, play games and interact with. Depending on how the Nestling is feeling, her eyes glow multiple colours to show her mood. After several minutes of interaction her heart will glow telling kids its time to return back to the nest. An egg will then appear, which kids can open to reveal their first baby. More interactions will result in arrival of a second baby, and each Nestling can be reset it so you can play with again and again.
Nestlings are shipping in September and available in two colours.
