Already a hit around the world, fast-paced general knowledge game 30 Seconds has made its UK debut just ahead of the Christmas shopping season.
It’s the first multiplayer game from Smart Games, and ideal for the family thanks to simple rules and a quick set-up.
Teams take it in turns to describe or guess a list of five names revealed to them on a card. The describer must give their team enough information to correctly identify the names on the card, which could include everything from landmarks, celebrities, films and popular books, to loved brands, celebrated fictional characters, renowned sporting events and much more.
Teams advance through the board by moving forward the number of spaces as guessed correctly – a maximum of five per turn if all names are guessed correctly within the time limit. The winning team is the first to reach the finish square.
Smart Toys and Games expects the game to be a hit this Christmas thanks to its broad appeal for all genders, ages and interests.
