Master toy partner on post-apocalypse animation from Atomic Cartoons heading to Netflix later this year

Jakks Pacific has been appointed master toy partner for The Last Kids on Earth, a series of books and a forthcoming Netflix animation telling post-apocalyptic adventures of a band of 13 year olds.

The range will include action figures, activity toys, role-play accessories, vehicles, plush items, novelty items, game, and play electronics, and will be available in all territories except China.

Cyber Group Studios brokered the deal on behalf of Atomic Cartoons, the kids and family division of Thunderbird Entertainment Group Inc. behind the forthcoming Netflix series starring Mark Hamill launching later this year.

Cyber Group holds global merchandising and second round TV rights to the series, and will be unveiling its wider consumer brand at Licensing Expo in Vegas next month. Richard Goldsmith, President and CEO of Cyber Group Studios calls The Last Kids on Earth “an exciting new global franchise”.

The consumer brand for The Last Kids on Earth will debut at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas next month June.
