Hasbro is heading to Hawkins and tackling the Upside Down in a special edition Stranger Things Monopoly set.
As with all licensed Monopoly sets, gone are the traditional tokens, graphics and Chance cards, instead replaced with locales and characters from the show – perhaps a little spoilery for fans still catching up with the latest episodes.
The traditional Monopoly board has been given an 80s sci-fi-inspired makeover with graphics of Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Will, Eleven and the rest of the main now-teenage cast as they appear in the third and latest season, which hit Netflix on 4 July.
Also replaced are the traditional tokens, with a Scoops Ahoy hat courtesy of Steve’s new job selling ice cream, a cassette mix-tape, and Eleven’s go-to meal, an Eggo waffle.
Of course, players can buy up landmarks from around the not so sleepy town of Hawkins, Indiana including the new Starcourt Mall and the Fairground.
The game is available to pre-order now and will release later this year.
