Boat Rocker Studios has named Golden Bear the master toy partner for its forthcoming children’s series Love Monster.

The partnership will see Golden Bear produce licensed Love Monster products for the UK, Ireland and Australia. Products will cover a wide range of categories, including plush, plastic, role-play, electronic learning aids, bath and wooden toys.

Barry Hughes, Managing Director of Golden Bear, says: “We instantly fell in love with Love Monster and his friends in Fluffytown and have already had lots of fun turning the characters into delightful toy samples that have translated exceptionally well.

"We are looking forward to the launch of the show next year and then bringing the toys to market.”

Love Monster is a quirky, 2D-animated 54 x 7’ pre-school series follows a little monster with a huge heart on a journey of learning about the world. The show is based on the bestselling pre-school books by Rachel Bright, published by HarperCollins Children’s Books.

“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Golden Bear, who have an outstanding reputation for producing high quality toys in the pre-school space,” says Kate Schlomann, Executive Vice President of Brand Management and Content Marketing, Boat Rocker

“We can’t wait to bring Love Monster and his cute furry friends from Fluffytown to life for children to cuddle & play with at home.”

Love Monster will hit UK screens in January 2020. The show is a three-way collaboration between BBC Children’s In-House Productions, Boat Rocker Studios and Chinese production company UYoung.
