Zimpli Kids Gelli Baff was spotted on CBeebies’ Yakka Dee this morning, in an episode about different types of baths: baby baths, bubble baths, and the favourite, a Gelli Baff bath.
The episode was aired on TV screens across the UK and will be available to watch on iPlayer.
It’s not the first time Zimpli’s slime products have been spotted on primetime TV. The Gelli Baff range has become a favourite on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and it’s appeared as slime on a number of other popular shows.
Zimpli Kids recently extended the popular Gelli Baff range, launching two brand new licences: Ryan’s World and Baby Shark.
The Baby Shark range not only includes Zimpli’s famous Gelli powder, which turns bath water into a gooey underwater adventure, but it will also have a 3D Baby Shark bath sticker, which floats and sticks to the surface when wet. There will be 10 3D Baby Shark stickers to collect in total.
The product has also become a hit with social media users as the ideal sensory toy for little ones. The company says its lines, particularly best-seller Gelli Baff, have been picked up by swathes of social media personalities and championed as the ideal play stuff for promoting development, education and sensory understanding, particularly for kids on the autism spectrum.
“The recent feedback we have had from children with autism using Gelli Baff products has been amazing," says Jessica Coy, Head of Marketing at Zimpli Kids.
"The benefits of sensory play for autistic children are huge! Encouraging them to focus on something with their hands, like Gelli Baff, can provide them with a sense of calm.”
