Social media influencer activity aims to give youngsters some style inspiration ahead of the launch of Moose Toys’ new collectable fashion doll

Moose Toys is readying for the 1 August launch of its fashion-forward doll brand Capsule Chix with the #StyledByMe social campaign, teaming with eight-year-old fashion influencer Laerta.

Kids will be encouraged to celebrate their unique styles and use the #StyledByMe hashtag to create their own style tips or look to others for inspiration.

The toy firm also polled 2000 parents with kids aged four-plus, and found little ones are developing their own individual style from as young as seven.

Many parents expressed their pride and said they were impressed by their youngsters’ style and fashion sense. A third of parents give their kids free reign over what they wear, while 25 per cent are happy to let their child wear any accessories as long as it makes them happy.

Capsule Chix is a new collectable fashion doll offering more than four billion looks for kids to express their tastes through mixing and matching clothes and accessories. Each Capsule Chix doll comes in a capsule machine, literally putting a unique twist on the unboxing trend. The Style Dial is turned to unbox five surprise capsules, each one containing various items, including stylish colourful hair, faces, tops, bottoms, hand signs, shoes and accessories to build one complete doll.

Our research shows parents don’t care how their kids are dressed, as long as they’re enjoying themselves and are being creative.
