The lines provide premium and novel stocking-‐filler solutions from top brands including Freak Lab, Yolkies, and one of Bandai’s best-selling brands, Bananas.
Freak Lab is a brand-‐new, original IP to join the Bandai portfolio bringing a mix of experimentation, creation, and gross fun to the boys’ collectables category. The blind-‐purchase cannisters include ingredients for children to carry out their own experiments and create monsters. There are six different monsters and a rare character to collect, each in a variety of colour-‐ways. Each monster collected can be combined to create a giant ‘freak’ character. There are over 24 to collect in series one.
A major innovation within the Bandai portfolio is the Yolkies line, which combines sugar-free, edible slime and collectable surprise toys encased in mystery eggs, Yolkies are set to drive impulse purchasing among younger children 12 foodie egg characters to collect in the first wave. Series two will launch Q2 2020.
Series 4 of one of Bandai’s best-‐selling properties, Bananas, is available to meet the Christmas wish-‐list demand. The latest wave of brings Colourfest Bananas bunches and singles which include new mummy Crushie collectible characters that correspond with baby Crushies and can be collected from the brand-‐new line of Baby Bananas. Extending the fruit collection, Pineapples accompany the Series 4 launch, and all-‐new Plush Bananas have been added to the range which can be unzipped to reveal one of six four-inch collectible Plushie Crushies.
