Schleich UK has welcomed Stephanie Wallace to the team as Key Account & Business Development Manager, further strengthening the company’s UK sales force.

Stephanie returns to the toy industry from maternity leave, bringing more than a decade of experience to the role from companies such as Mookie, Clementoni, Green Board Games and, most recently, Spin Master.

Stephanie is the latest addition to an ongoing restructure of Schleich’s UK sales team, including the hire of three regional sales reps, Richard Greenwood, Charlie McBurney and Jamie Tank. Stephanie will join the trio at Toy Fair later this month.

Thomas Randrup, Managing Director, Schleich UK, says: “We are thrilled to have Stephanie on board at such an exciting and evolving time for the business. Stephanie’s proven history of developing strong and long-lasting relationships and her understanding of the industry will make her a valuable asset for our team.

“The major development in the 2020 ranges together with Schleich’s biggest ever marketing programme will ensure that our new sales team are well-equipped to continue recent successes in the year ahead.”

Schleich enjoyed a record year in 2019, achieving more than 50 per cent growth in the UK market, with ambitious plans to continue the momentum in 2020. Stephanie’s role will be key to this, managing a number of existing key accounts as well as being responsible for opening new distribution channels.
“I am thrilled to be returning to the toy industry and to be joining Schleich at such an exciting time in the brand’s history,” Stephanie says. “I’m really looking forward to a busy Toy Fair season, and to all the opportunities ahead”
