A new year and decade kicks off with a bang in TnP’s signature January issue, a bumper companion to trade show season – which you can read online here.

This issue contains previews for London Toy Fair, Nuremberg Toy Fair and Spring Fair, plus key members of the Toy Association tell us more about what’s happening this year at Toy Fair New York.

MV Sports showcases its new lines via its cover story, while Barbie takes to the Nuremberg flip cover to showcase how the number one fashion doll will continue to inspire girls in 2020. TnP also finds out what Mattel has in store for the year ahead, direct from the company’s UK MD and Marketing Director. Toynamics – having rebranded from Marbel – talks about the company’s exciting developments and Wilton Bradley’s International Business Director speaks about how the company designs, develops, distributes and markets its hottest lines.

On the retail front, we hear from a host of independents ahead of toy fair season, and we feature interviews with Toymaster and Lark Toys – a retailer that regularly appears in the Top 10 toy shops worldwide! The Fence Club shares more about its fundraising in 2019, the Toy Trust reflects on a stellar year of events - plus the usual mix of news, expert views and insight.
