Playmobil is celebrating a golden start to November, securing five industry-beating awards in as many five days.

The run of wins started when the team took home the Overall Champion accolade at the Rainbow Toy Awards for Excellence, with the much-loved Playmobil Mars Space Station taking top spot for 2019. Playmobil Mars Space Station was described as a “toy that let’s children use their imagination.” Testers commented it was “loved by the whole family,” had “great attention to detail” and “even provoked discussion in our house about life on other planets.”

The Rainbows also saw Playmobil scoop the Imaginative Toys category for the Playmobil Mars Space Station and the Wheeled Toys category for Playmobil: The Movie Del’s Food Truck.

Following in quick succession, the Playmobil Tiny Paws Pet Hotel secured the accolade of Best Preschool Toy Range in the Progressive Preschool Awards.

Playmobil 1.2.3 Zoo was also recognised this week, receiving Silver in the Best Toy 1-3 Years category at the Mum’s Choice Awards, the awards from UKMums.TV designed to give mums a clear insight into what products are favoured by their peers.

The latest awards come hot on the heels of success this autumn for the Space, Movie, 1.2.3, City Life and Family Fun ranges in the Dadsnet Awards, Independent Toy Awards and BlogOn Toys Awards.

Jamie Dickinson, Marketing and Display Manager at Playmobil, says: “We make our toys for children to enjoy but it’s always a pleasure when they are recognised in industry awards by adults and testers alike.

“Our goal is to stimulate young imaginations, providing children with the opportunity to be whoever they want to be and tell their own story. Taking home such a wealth of awards across a variety of ages and ranges shows that we are doing our job well.”
