A round of promotions at Hasbro will see three long-serving executives step up to new senior leadership positions.

Michael Hogg, who has held various positions in Hasbro’s commercial organisation, will take over from Wiebe Tinga as Hasbro’s Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Commercial Officer. Wiebe, who is to retire, has stepped down from the position and will stay on as a special commercial retail advisor for a transition period to ensure a smooth handover.

Since joining Hasbro in 2005, Michael has taken on various roles within the company, starting as General Manager in Canada, before moving to the US in 2011 as President, Hasbro North America. In 2018,he was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer, Commercial Markets.

Hasbro has also named Eric Nyman as Chief Consumer Officer to lead its newly formed Global Consumer Organisation. He will have responsibility for all of Hasbro Global Brand teams, which will leverage a new general management construct to create innovative product and marketing solutions for each brand.

Eric will report to John Frascotti, President and Chief Operating Officer, who says: “Eric has been a valued member of the Hasbro team for 15 years, holding leadership roles within brand and commercial management, most recently as President, Hasbro North America.

"His proven ability to build empowered, successful teams with a deep focus on the consumer and customer will enable him to lead the Global Consumer Organisation into the future.”

Finally, Tony Papreck has been upped to President, North America & Pacific Sales and Marketing. Over the past several years, Tony has successfully led both the Australian and Canadian business units as General Manager. In this new position he will report to Michael Hogg.
