A trio of showcase zones will highlight the biggest trends in toys during next January’s HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair.

Bringing together a vast array of tech-based toys and games, the Smart Tech Toys zone will showcase the latest innovations in app-enabled playthings, VR, AR and MR (mixed-reality) technologies, and the incorporation of chips and sensors in more traditional categories like plush, board games and even jigsaws.

Continuing the theme, the STREAM Toys Product Display will highlight educational and hi-tech toys featuring science, technology, robotics, engineering, arts and mathematics – playthings parents are demanding more of than ever before in a bid to give their little ones a step up.

Meanwhile Kidult World is the place to find items that target those young at heart, such as hobby goods, performance magic items, models, figurines, war games equipment and more. Also returning is the Fireworks zone, displaying shells, firecrackers, toy fireworks as well as fireworks suitable for events.

These topics and more will be the focus of the Hong Kong Toys Industry Conference 2020, featuring a line-up of expert speakers sharing insights on key global and regional trends shaping the toy industry.

The HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair will be held from 6-9 January 2020, and is held concurrently with The HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, Hong Kong International Stationery Fair and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Licensing Show.
